National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to preliminary data, in January-September 2024, compared to the corresponding period of 2023, the volume of gross agricultural production in agricultural producers of all categories decreased by 6,8% (in comparable prices) as a result of:

• decrease in crop production by 15,5%;

• increase in animal production by 10,9%.

In the third quarter of this year, compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, agricultural production decreased by 10,2%, including decrease in crop production by 16,7%, and increase in animal production by 19,9%.
